Mark Canada is an Austin, TX based architect specializing in passive solar and green sustainable architecture. His skills have been honed by maneuvering the difficulty of the complex problems of the Texas hill country sites. He is well versed in solar photo voltaic electricity production, geo-thermal heating, ventilation and cooling systems, rain water harvesting and radiant barrier/vapor barrier/insulation construction.
Mark has been recognized with numerous awards, among them an Austin Chapter of the American Institute of Architects Award for Excellence in Design he was selected as one of thirty exceptional design firms in Texas. Mark is registered with the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners, the Austin Chapter of the AIA, the Texas Society of Architects, the National American Institute of Architects, as well as, being certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. Mark is a graduate from Virginia Polytechnic Institute.
